- Duration: 2 days, Saturday & Sunday, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. each day
- Prerequisite(s): Sailing Basics or equivalent knowledge and skill

Chesapeake Bay ASA 101 Basic Keelboat Sailing Course
ASA 101 is recognized in all 50 states as the Safe Boater Certification Course and fulfills the requirements to operate a vessel. Keelboat sailing is a widely-recognized sailing certification standard. Students master points of sail, rigging the boat, sail trim, basic rules of the road, safety equipment, and are introduced to navigation aids.
Boat: Taught aboard 25-27′ sailboats
Certifications: American Sailing Association Basic Keelboat Sailing Certification (ASA101)
Course Includes: Book, log-book, testing, certification, and a one-year membership to The American Sailing Association.
