Chesapeake Bay ASA 101 Basic Keelboat Sailing Course
ASA 101 is recognized in all 50 states as the Safe Boater Certification Course and fulfills the requirements to operate a vessel. Keelboat sailing is a widely-recognized sailing certification standard. Students master points of sail, rigging the boat, sail trim, basic rules of the road, safety equipment, and are introduced to navigation aids.
Boat:Taught aboard 25-27′ sailboats
Certifications:American Sailing Association Basic Keelboat Sailing Certification (ASA101)
Course Includes:Book, log-book, testing, certification, and a 9 month trial membership to The American Sailing Association.
